Trainings on the pedigree database

For all beekeepers interested in breeding Buckfast bees, we offer a platform with the breeding registry to document the ancestry of their queens along with a pedigree of their ancestors, illustration of the offspring, evaluation of characteristics, etc. of their queens. In addition, breeding series can be managed and tracked from birth, through mating and egg-laying, up to evaluation.

Even though it may sound simple to many, as we know, the devil is in the details. Therefore, we regularly offer training or meetings on various topics and modules every 2nd Friday of the month from 7:30 PM, where information is provided on correct usage, innovations, and updates.

We will then send the ZOOM link by email 1-2 days before the training date.

This training is mainly aimed at newcomers to "pedigree documentation in breeding registries." We will cover everything from the family tree to pedigree notation, the OSB license, and access to the breeding registry, up to the first entry of queens into the database. But even experienced breeders are likely to learn something new here.
